Message	system? For all you know, it could be the aftermarket security system. I've seen it happen where they start drawing more current than they should. I would recommend you disconnect the negative, put a multimeter in current measurement with the leads between the negative battery post and the negative terminal and then start disconnecting stuff to see if it brings the current use down. And get a battery maintainer.
